IAF Facilitation Impact Awards 2024

GFSC congratulates Karen Lim and Mark Pixley – Vice President of GFSC – partners of LEADERSHIP Inc. in Shenzhen, China, as well as Beccy Torres and Sandy Espinel, GFSC volunteers in Ecuador and partners of D&E Asesoria in Guayaquil, Ecuador, for having been awarded two of the Facilitation Impact Awards 2024, from the International Association of Facilitators – IAF.

The client of the winning project developed by LEADERSHIP Inc. was Shenzhen Airlines Co. Ltd, located in China. The purpose of the project was to conduct a talent development program to develop high-level managers who have the ability and integrity to continuously improve the organization and employee effectiveness. The impact of the program: participants developed several strategies to promote the holistic and healthy development of Shenzhen Airlines and created an action plan to implement these strategies, particularly digital transformation.

The client of D&E Asesoria’s winning project was TERMINAL DE CARGAS DEL ECUADOR S.A. whose senior management team required the consultants to facilitate the development of a strategy and work plan that would make it possible to strengthen the CONNECTION with its people, making human management a driver of building an easy, inclusive and sustainable culture. The Impact of the project: With a 100% employee contribution, the CONEXIÓN TCE 2022 Action Plan was established, integrating 55 employee proposals during the different phases of the project. This enabled the Management Team to make decisions consistent with the project’s spirit of “promoting the creation of an easy, inclusive and sustainable connection.” 100% compliance with the CONEXIÓN TCE 2022 Action Plan. Overall Great Place to Work survey results increased from 82% in 2022 to 89% in 2023.
