GFSC Virtual Workshop for AWE Foundation in Ecuador

This report presents a virtual training program on the GFSC Crisis-Change-Choice Model aimed at a group of women from the AWE Foundation’s Network of Women Entrepreneurs in Ecuador, which took place during the month of August 2025. The training was facilitated by GFSC volunteers Lorena Durán (Ecuador/USA), Alba Gamarra de Guardia (Bolivia), and Marcela Alvarez (Ecuador), with mentoring and support from Miriam Castillo and Ximena Combariza.

The main objective of this program was to train and empower a group of female community facilitators with tools to: manage crises with empathy, promote spaces for emotional and collective support, and strengthen leadership and resilience in their communities.
