Crisis – Change – Choice virtual workshop

In the pandemic era, every community has experienced crisis. GFSC has designed and is currently delivering a special virtual format of its Crisis-Change-Choice workshop – An approach to helping communities respond constructively to crisis.

We want to offer experienced and non-experienced facilitators (like first responders, community elders, teachers, spiritual leaders, and others) a guide on how to talk about our crisis experiences with neighbors, family members, co-workers, and others.

Through a four-part workshop series and using stories and conversation, participants will better understand how people usually experience crisis and how we can tap into individual and community reservoirs of responding constructively to it.

Our initial offering is being done in conjunction with the ICA Social Research Network Event Calendar. The first module took place on April 12 and the others have been scheduled for May 17, June 14 and July 12. While all modules are connected, people may participate in one or all of them.  If you are interested in attending any of the modules, please contact Tim Karpoff at: info@globalfacilitators.org
