After Hurricane, Signs of a Mental Health Crisis Haunt in Puerto Rico. Caitlin Andersen

The author, Caitlin Andersen, former staff writer in the New York Times and currently at The Atlantic, tells the story of a survivor of the Hurrican Maria in Puerto Rico, 2017 and the way that this disaster affected her mental healt, as well as menytal health of many other survivors. She interviewed Dr. Carlos del Toro Ortiz, clinical psychologist who treated this and other survivors and who explained how important is to give psychosocial support to people after a disaster.
